“ Great service, old school friendly diner vibes. Food was prepared quickly and in a very diner home style manner. Fluffy eggs, the biscuits were a little sweet, never had sweet biscuits, but they were very fresh and soft like a little dessert biscuit cake. I’m very picky with my coffee, its hard to find drip coffee that’s served hot and strong. This place had the coffee just right. ”

“ Yeah this place straight up is amazing. We live across the street and decided to walk over for a cozy low key Sunday brunch, and boy were we blown away. The interior is adorable, the colored mugs and cute decor drew us in. The amazing Bloody Mary, the delicious club sandwich that’s just done perfectly with the most flavorful bacon, the veggie omelette my boyfriend won’t stop talking about, and omg.. the blueberry scones!! Literally everything is to die for! We’ve now visited 4 times, and we will be back soon! Scarlet was precious and so bubbly, Jean is such a hard worker and a hustler, and the manager (didn’t catch her name) is so attentive, caring, thoughtful, and wow she is everywhere! Running the front desk, running food, cleaning the bar top, checking on tables, she embodies exactly what you want to see when you choose to dine out. We fell in love accidentally with the most adorable little restaurant and has quickly become a staple in our Boca restaurant rotation, and with the consistently incredible experiences back to back, I felt the need to tell people about it. Pop in for breakfast, you won’t regret it. ”

“ Absolutely loved thus place, we stopped by on our way to Orlando looking for a local breakfast place and we found Skillets! Our server Alexis was awesome, the place was clean and the most important thing the food was delicious! The grits were creamy and fresh, I had the avocado and cheese omelet and it was superb! My husband had the avocado bacon skillet and it was awesome. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! One more thing that we don't talk about much but the restrooms were impeccable and smelled fresh and clean...thanks Skilets for that wonderful breakfast experience, keep it up Alexis you are great! ”

“ Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Came on a Sunday around brunch time and it wasn't busy and there was no wait. Food tasted great. My table got the Pesto Chicken Frittata, Corn Beef and Hash, and a Tex Mex Omelette. All tasted good and we got scones which were absolutely delicious!! They tasted fresh and were super buttery, definitely recommend. They have outdoor and patio seating available. ”

“ Really enjoyed the breakfast here! Our server was great and the food was really delicious. There’s a big menu with core offerings like pancakes, waffles, French toast, and of course their namesake skillets. The skillet was really good, it had a unique breakfast take on what almost felt like sort of scalloped potatoes inside. The biscuits and scones were really good too! The restaurant is clean and classic Americana energy. It’s a great family spot for a hearty breakfast or lunch. Indoor and patio seating. ”

“ We returned to Skillet for breakfast and I was craving waffles – they did not disappoint! Our server, Maria, was attentive and checked in on us regularly, even though we had already received our coffee and teas. Note coffees and teas are served not only in cups .... they give you a kettle so you don’t have to keep asking for refills. The service at Skillet is always excellent, although my husband is a bit of a coffee connoisseur and found the coffee to his liking. Update- Came back again in September 17. Robert was our server and he was awesome. This time, we ordered corn beef hash platter and Pancake platter with chicken sausage. Both corn beef hash and chicken apple sausage were homemade and they were delicious. Coffee this time was weak. Anyway, Skillet is still one of our breakfast place favorites. Initial-This place is located right across Publix and when we arrived on a Sunday morning at around 10:30am , people were already waiting outside. I could say they have a pretty fast turnover, less than 5 minutes . It's decor is similar to Tom Sawyer but a bit contemporary. The place was very busy and though short staffed , the employees were awfully friendly. Hannah was our server and she's very nice. I messed up my order and knowing they were busy, I followed her. The manager saw me and asked if I need help. My request was attended quickly. There's a menu posted on the outside wall by the entrance so do yourself a favor to peruse so you can order immediately . Keep in mind very busy so please be patient. We enjoyed our breakfast: pancake, side of corned beef hash, Denver omelette and separately ordered biscuits . The biscuits were served piping hot. I rated 5 star because of overall experience - homey feel, nice and clean, friendly staff and good food. Yes, we will return. ”
